I'm new to starting a meetup group, well I'm new to meetup.com all together so bare with me.

I was not sure what a suitable meet up place would be so I picked Denny's as it is casual and people can eat if they want or just have coffee. If anyone has a better suggestion I'm open to hearing it.

As well this is the first meet up so I am sure I am going to encounter bumps along the way of trying to organize it. The basis of the first meet up is just going to be a get to know you theme. I do not want to have anything very structured as I believe it will be big/hard step for anyone to go to one of these meetings not knowing anyone. Especially with such a heavy topic. I know it will be hard for myself included.

I ask that everyone that comes is open-minded and does not crititize anyone else at the meeting. It is hard to share such personal information as it is.

In my personal life I think that meeting others like me will be benefical as it will be for anyone else that comes. I have no rules or guidelines at this time, but I think that will come in time with the help of any of the people that are interested in attending meetings regularly.

I am hoping that with these meetups we can network as to where people with BPD can get help, things that do and do not work for individuals, give information to others such signifcant others/friends/family members who are trying to support a person with BPD.

Like I said I'm new to this so bare with me and I am open to suggestions.
